The browser's search bar

Amigadex describes itself to browsers (OpenSearch): in Firefox, right-click the address bar on this page and choose “Add Amigadex”; in Chrome and Edge, it shows up in Settings → Search engine → Manage search engines once you have searched here. Then type your words in the address bar.

A news widget

The latest news, forum threads or releases, in a frame on your page. Links open the original site. It sets no cookie and runs no script; it follows the reader's light or dark mode unless you choose one.

JSON API

Read-only, no key, callable from a page on any site (CORS). Each returns total and items, 20 per page (page=2...).

Be gentle: cache what you fetch, a few requests a minute is plenty. Nothing in the answers is Amigadex's own text: titles and summaries belong to their sites, which the links credit.
